First New Mutants Cast Members Revealed

With excitement building over Bryan Singer's X-Men: Apocalypse and the commercial success of Tim Miller's Deadpool, Fox has begun to look to the future of their X-Men Universe.

One such expansion will come in the form of New Mutants and apparently director Josh Boone has three of the Marvel Mutants already cast for the upcoming spinoff. Maisie Williams, known to most as Arya Stark from Game of Thrones, has been cast as Wolfsbane, while Anya Taylor-Joy will be playing the fan favorite Magik. They'll be joined by Alexandra Shipp, who will reprise her role as Storm from X-Men: Apocalypse.

Cannonball, Sunspot, and Mirage will also feature in the film, but have yet to be cast.

James McAvoy is also said to be returning as Charles Xavier.

There's no current release date for the film, but expect more casting news soon!

For those looking to get their Marvel Mutant fix, X-Men: Apocalypse will hit theatres on May 27th.
