For its freshman season, Legends Of Tomorrow closed things out with the defeat of the immortal Vandal Savage and introduced Hourman of the Justice Society Of America.
So, the question is, where exactly does the show go from here?
Well, executive producer Marc Guggenheim has dropped a hint or two in a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly and it sounds as though they're planning on upping the ante next season.
“In many ways, the season finale of season 1 set up the new mission statement for season 2,” Guggenheim says. “Like Rip says at the end of the season finale, there basically are no more Time Masters. We basically have to be the Time Masters.”
So, it sounds as though Rip and his team will be forced to safeguard time itself next season.
Additionally, fans can expect appearances from other members of the JSA and a rather slow reveal when it comes to the identity of the show's big bad next season.
Like we said, it's clear they're planning on upping the ante from Season 1 - and we can't wait!
Starring Arthur Darvill, Brandon Routh, Caity Lotz, Franz Drameh, Victor Garber, Nick Zeno and Maisie Richardson-Sellers, Legends Of Tomorrow returns October 13th.
