Actor Matt Letscher has joined the cast of Legends Of Tomorrow. He will be reprising his role, now a series regular one moving forward, as the cold, calculating Reverse-Flash for Season 2 of the hit DC Entertainment drama.
The announcement was made during the show's panel at San Diego Comic Con last weekend.
Letscher, who previously portrayed the vile Eobard Thawne on The Flash, will be part of the Legion Of Doom next season, a group of supervillains that also includes the likes of Captain Cold, Malcolm Merlyn and Damien Darhk respectively.
“For season two of Legends, we decided that the perfect antagonist for TV’s first-ever team of Super Heroes would be TV’s first-ever team of Super-Villains, recruited from the ranks of Arrow and The Flash’s deadliest adversaries,” said EP Guggenheim. “Being huge fans of the Challenge of the Superfriends, we’ve come to call this group our ‘Legion of Doom.’”
However, that's not all the Legends Of Tomorrow news we have for you today!
During the same panel, it was revealed that a few more members of the Justice Society Of America, a team of superheroes teased in the show's Season 1 finale late last spring, would be appearing on the show alongside the likes of Hourman. These include Obsidian, Stargirl and Dr. Mid-Nite.
None of these roles have been cast just yet, so be sure to stay tuned for that!
Starring Arthur Darvill, Brandon Routh, Caity Lotz, Franz Drameh, Victor Garber, Patrick J. Adams, Nick Zano, Wentworth Miller, John Barrowman, Neal McDonough and Matt Letscher, Legends Of Tomorrow returns to TV screens on Thursday, October 13th.
