Ahead of the screening of Batman: The Killing Joke, Warner Bros. Animation hosted a panel where they announced the next three titles in their DC Animated Original Movie series.
Coming first is the previously announced Justice League Dark, which focuses on a team of supernatural heroes coming together to combat a magical threat. Warner Bros. confirmed that both John Constantine and Swamp Thing will appear in the upcoming animated feature.
Next up will be the highly anticipated, and long in development, Teen Titans: The Judas Contract. The animated movie is set to adapt one of Marv Wolfman and George Perez's most acclaimed stories.
And finally, next summer DC fans will be treated to Batman and Harley Quinn. This one comes from the DCAU godfather Bruce Timm and is a completely original movie. No further details were offered beyond that however.
Sounds like a rather exciting slate of DC animated films. We're really hoping Kevin Conroy and Tara Strong will be back for Batman and Harley Quinn and we're very curious to see the final voice cast for Justice League Dark.
Fans can get their DC animated fix next with Batman: The Killing Joke, which arrives on Blu-Ray and DVD August 2nd and for Digital HD on July 26th.
