The United States Postal Service will be commemorating the 75th anniversary of Wonder Woman with a brand new collection of stamps celebrating the DC superheroine's long-running history.
The stamps were shown off this past weekend during San Diego Comic Con with the first-day-of-issue ceremony taking place October 7th at New York Comic Con.
The four stamps feature four separate reiterations of Wonder Woman throughout the years. The Golden Age (1941-1955) features Wonder Woman running in a skirted uniform, while the Silver Age (1956-1972) showcases Wonder Woman now in shorts with her hair pulled back. The Bronze Age (1973-1986) Wonder Woman raises her fist in the air in triumph and the Modern Age (1987-present) has Wonder Woman holding her hammer of power.
Wonder Woman is the latest DC Comics hero to be immortalized on a stamp. The United States Postal Service previously released 75th anniversary collections for both Superman and Batman - two of the most iconic characters from within the DC Comics library.
