Fans have eagerly been awaiting the DC Expanded Universe debut of the Green Lantern.
Rumors had suggested that the Emerald Knight would cameo in Zack Snyder's Batman v Superman, but that never cane to pass. Then, hopes of an appearance in Justice League were apparently debunked when producers revealed he may not even be showing up in the second installment of the highly anticipated superhero team-up.
Now, in a new breakdown about the movie, The Wrap reveals that "A member of the Green Lantern Corps. will be seen in 'Justice League' in a key sequence." No further details, including which member of the intergalactic police force will appear, were given.
The site also goes on to confirm that Darkseid will be playing an important part in the film.
"Darkseid's presence will loom large in 'Justice League' as the film's prologue introduces the New God while ancient Amazonians, Atlanteans, and pre-historic humans fight him off Earth."
And, if that wasn't cool enough, they also mention that Cyborg will have both a Battle Mode and also a Civilian Mode in the film.
We're now less than a year away from the release of Justice League, so it'll be fun to see how many of these things actually play out when the superhero team-up hits the big screen next year.
Starring Ben Affleck, Gal Gadot, Henry Cavil, Ezra Miller, Jason Momoa, Amber Heard, Ray Fisher, Willem Dafoe, Amy Adams and J.K. Simmons, Justice League arrives on November 17, 2017.
