Fans awaiting the release of Marvel's Cloak And Dagger series will have to wait a bit longer.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the show has been pushed back to 2018. Daredevil writer and co-executive producer, Joe Pokaski, is on board as showrunner, and is currently rewriting the initial script for the series.
Cloak And Dagger centers around a pair of teenage runaways named Tyrone "Ty" Johnson (Cloak) and Tandy Bowen (Dagger), both of whom have special powers. Cloak has the ability to teleport, while Dagger can create weapons out of light and heal people.
Best described as a superhero love story, the series was given the go-ahead earlier this year when it received a straight-to-series order from Freedom Network.
