Michael Giacchino To Score Spider-Man: Homecoming

Doctor Strange and Jurassic World composer Michael Giacchino has signed on to score Jon Watts' highly anticipated Spider-Man: Homecoming.

According to a recent Reddit post, Marvel president Kevin Feige let the news slip during a recent screening for Doctor Strange before apparently following up with “We announced that right? I really hope we announced that.”

Michael Giacchino then took to Twitter to confirm that his involvement in the protect was true.

The composer has worked closely with Disney in the past, and has scored numerous projects for the studio including The Incredibles, Up and Zootopia. He also recently took over the score of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story from Alexandre Desplat.

We here at Infinite Earths love Mr. Giacchno's work (we're actual listening to the Jurassic World soundtrack right now) and we can't wait to see how he handles the score to Spider-Man: Homecoming.
