Jennifer Lawrence has seemed more than ready to move on from the X-Men franchise for some time now, especially since her contract wrapped this past summer with the critically panned X-Men: Apocalypse. However, she sounds more than willing to bring Mystique, the blue-skinned shape shifter she's been playing since X-Men: First Class, into the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
During a recent interview with MTV, Lawrence was asked if she'd be interested in appearing in the Guardians Of The Galaxy franchise alongside her Passengers co-star Chris Pratt, the actress replied: "Oh, my God, I would love to! I actually don’t even know — I would choose that over doing another X-Men movie."
That's probably not something Fox wants to hear, but we know we'd love to see Mystique, and the rest of the X-Men, brought into the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
"I won’t be Mystique in the X-Men movies," she added, "but I would love to be Mystique in ‘Guardians of the Galaxy.’ I wonder if I can do that?"
Probably not, but there are plenty of roles within the MCU she could take up.
