Joe Manganiello Teases The Batman Once Again

Actor Joe Manganiello recently stopped by The Rich Eisen Show to talk about the Pittsburgh Steelers, however he also took a few moments to cryptically teases his upcoming project The Batman.

Manganiello will star in the film alongside Ben Affleck's Batman as Slade Wilson, the deadliest assassin in the DC Universe. J.K. Simmons will also appear as police commissioner Jim Gordon, and Jeremy Irons will be back as Batman's faithful butler, Alfred.

Manganiello revealed that he was not allowed to divulge too many details about the movie, but was more than willing to speak cryptically about it when fielded with questions. When asked about the film’s plot and his role in it, Manganiello said the following:

"It’s about Gotham. And there’s this guy that dresses like a bat… I play a one-eyed — like, the world’s deadliest assassin, who also has one eye."

But, that's far from the most interesting part. When asked whether or not he had wrapped work on the project, Manganiello dropped a pretty interesting tidbit of info:

"Uh, no. We will start at some point this year, it looks like."

Granted, this could mean many things, but one thing is for sure: Mr. Manganiello loves to tease the fans regarding this highly anticipated project!

You can listen to the full interview below, The Batman stuff starts at the 9:40 mark...
