Legends Of Tomorrow Heads To Camelot 3000

Are you familiar with your Arthurian lore? Well, you'd best get studying then!

In a recent tweet, Legends Of Tomorrow executive producer Marc Guggenheim revealed the title of the second season’s twelfth episode will be Camelot 3000.

Published back in 1982, Camelot 3000 was the title given to a twelve issue comic book series published by DC Comics. The tale deals with King Arthur and his Knights of the Round Table being reincarnated in the year 3000 AD. The world has become an overpopulated, apocalyptic version of its old self, and Arthur and his men must band together to take on the forces of the vile Morgan Le Fay.

No further information was given in Guggenheim's post, but we do know that the episode will be written by Anderson Mackenzie, and will be directed by Antonio Negret.

We're quite excited by this! Being huge DC Comics fans here at Infinite Earths, we never miss an installment from the DC TV Universe - and have often wondered if Legends Of Tomorrow would ever delve into an adventure inspired by Mike Barr and Brian Bolland's Camelot 3000.

We'll have to wait until the new year for this one, but fans can still look forward to the show's winter finale, The Chicago Way, which airs this Thursday at 8pm.
