When it was first announced that there was going to be a two-part musical crossover between Supergirl and The Flash in 2017, many fans had hoped the villainous Music Meister from Batman: The Brave & The Bold would make his live-action debut for the upcoming DC TV crossover.
How I Met Your Mother funny man Neil Patrick Harris voiced that character in an episode entitled Mayhem of the Music Meister! from the fan-favorite animated series. The actor was recently asked about the DC TV musical crossover while speaking with IGN.
"I’ve heard about it, but that’s as much as it’s been. I did the Music Meister in a recording booth in L.A. 15 years ago, or something, then it comes out a year later. It was a fun episode, it was a good thing to do. But I’ve heard that Joss [Whedon] is involved [with The Flash and Supergirl] in some way, I don’t know if that’s true or not. … [Music Meister] wears a big zoot suit, from what I remember — the song was fun to sing. So I don’t know, we’ll see."
He's of course referring to the rumor that Joss Whedon was possibly going to direct those two episodes. However, nothing has been mentioned on that front since then, but it would be very interesting to see if you ask us.
We honestly can't see anyone better fitted for the role of the Music Meister in live-action.
