According to a new report, production is set to start on a new X-Men movie next May.
Le Journal De Montreal reports that the new movie will be returning to the Montreal area and that a brand new production office opened up yesterday at the MELS Studio complex. Both X-Men: Days Of Future Past and X-Men: Apocalypse also shot in the Canadian city.
The publication also went on to reveal that set construction is expected to begin in January, and that the production is taking over Studios 2 and 3 of the MELS complex. Additionally, MELS president Michel Trudel says that he expects production to go on for "several months" and that “they will start shooting in May.”
The only question is: Which X-Men movie is being shot?
Last month, it was reported that Fox was apparently considering a reboot of the X-Men movie universe. However, we're going to hazard a guess and say that it's most likely going to be Josh Boone's New Mutants that gets cameras rolling on Montreal next year.
Especially given that word has it production is supposed to start on that one next year.
Either way, we'll be sure to share additional details as they become available.
