Rogue One Tops $200-Million Domestically

Despite some new competition at the box office this week, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story continues to dominate the big screen heading into the Holiday weekend.

Wednesday, the Gareth Edwards flick brought in an additional $15-Million from 4,157 theaters to shoot past the $200-Million mark domestically and finish the day with an estimated $205-Million in less than a week in circulation.

Heading into the weekend, early projections suggest that the new Star Wars movie could bring in over $90-Million more over the next six days, if not $100-Million.

Set before the events of 1977's Star Wars: A New Hope, the latest film follows a group of Rebel Alliance operatives as they attempt to steal the plans to the Empire's Death Star battle station.

Starring Felicity Jones, Diego Luna, Donnie Yen, Jiang Wen, Riz Ahmed and Alan Tudyk, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story is playing in theaters now.

Will you be seeing it again this weekend?
