Unsurprisingly, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story topped the box office heading into the Holiday weekend. The Gareth Edwards adventure brought in an additional $22.8-Million yesterday from 4,157 different locations. By the end of the weekend, analysts predict the movie's total domestic cume will sit at around $323-Million.
That's just about as much money as David Ayer's Suicide Squad brought in during its entire theatrical run here in North America earlier this year.
Set before the events of 1977's Star Wars: A New Hope, the latest film follows a group of Rebel Alliance operatives as they attempt to steal the plans to the Empire's Death Star battle station.
Starring Felicity Jones, Diego Luna, Donnie Yen, Jiang Wen, Riz Ahmed and Alan Tudyk, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story is playing in theaters now.
Will you be seeing it again this weekend?
