2016 has been a great year for Ryan Reynolds.
Not only did he receive a Golden Globe nomination for his work in Deadpool, but now the Vancouver native has earned the 2,596th star on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame.
The ceremony took place earlier today with Reynolds being honoured alongside the likes of Anna Faris, Rhett Reese, and Paul Wernick respectively.
Back in February, Reynolds finally got Deadpool released on the big screen. A long time passion project for the actor, the X-Men spinoff would end up raking in a very impressive worldwide total of $775-Million and would quickly become the highest-grossing R rated movie in box office history.
Not bad for a film with a production budget of $58-Million.
Reynolds is expected to return to Vancouver in 2017 to shoot the sequel.
Congratulations, Mr. Reynolds! This truly has been your year!
