James Wan's Aquaman has officially entered pre-production ahead of a shoot early next year in Australia. Jason Momoa is back as the King Of Atlantis, with Amber Heard on board as Mera and Patrick Wilson as the villainous Ocean Master.
While the solo protect has yet to begin shooting, the stunt team on the film recently appeared on a local news segment and confirmed that they're about to get to work on it.
“General stunt skills, fighting, if there is water sequences obviously being capable and competent in water,” stunt director Keir Beck told 9News about their preparation. He and his team also worked on George Miller's 2015 Oscar winner Mad Max: Fury Road.
The segment, which can be viewed at the link below, features B-roll from the Thor: Ragnarok and
Kong: Skull Island shoots, among other things.
Starring Jason Momoa, Amber Heard, Patrick Wilson and Willem Dafoe, Aquaman opens in theaters on October 5, 2018. Are you excited to see what Wan has planned for the King Of Atlantis?
