Speaking with Variety, Hugh Jackman took some time to discuss his upcoming retirement from the role of Wolverine, and a possible crossover with Ryan Reynolds' Deadpool - something fans have been hoping for since early last year.
In regards to that possible crossover, Jackman explained:
"I’m hesitating, because I could totally see how that’s the perfect fit. But the timing may be wrong. I’m at the point where I’m finishing up. In terms of a theory, it’s a great idea."
It sure would be a nice way to finish things up, if you ask us.
He then went on to praise hi upcoming film Logan, which will mark he very last time that Jackman will played the famed Marvel mutant on the big screen.
"I’m really, really proud of this movie. I was really keen that I didn’t leave the party feeling like I could dance more. I think I’m pretty much danced out, and I had a great time. It’s been an unbelievable ride, but it feels right."
Logan stars Hugh Jackman, Patrick Stewart, Boyd Holbrook, Richard E. Grant, Dafne Keen an Eriq La Salle. Directed by James Mangold, the R rated comic book Ovid arrives March 3rd.
