Actress Millie Bobby Brown, who plays the mysterious Eleven on the hit Netflix series Stranger Things, has nabbed her first big screen role. She has signed on to star in Godzilla: King of the Monsters, Legendary’s sequel to its 2014 creature feature.
Michael Dougherty is directing the film, which he also co-wrote with Zach Shields, his partner on Legendary’s popular horror movie Krampus.
Details surrounding Brown's role are currently unknown.
Godzilla: King of the Monsters is part of the newly formed giant monster cinematic universe that also includes the 2014 Godzilla film and the upcoming epic Kong: Skull Island.
Millie Bobby Brown, who has also appeared in Grey's Anatomy and Once Upon A Time, was thrust into the pop culture spotlight following the huge success of Stranger Things. Her role as Eleven on the show earned her nominations for SAG and People's Choice awards respectively.
Godzilla: King of the Monsters will roar into theatres on March 22, 2019.
