Joby Harold, the scribe behind the upcoming historical epic King Arthur: Legend Of The Sword, has been tapped to do a page-one rewrite of The Flash movie.
The highly anticipated project has been on hold since losing director Rick Famuyiwa at the end of October. Thus, while the film continues its search for a replacement, Warner Bros. has decided to take the story in a different direction.
Famuyiwa had written the latest draft, with sources claiming the Dope director departed the project due to creative differences with studio executives. Seth Grahame-Smith, who had been attached to direct at one time, also wrote a previous draft.
Ezra Miller will reprise his role as The Fastest Man Alive, whom fans first encountered in last year's Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice. Kiersey Clemons will co-star as Iris West, with Billy Crudup tapped to play Barry's father Henry Allen.
