This doesn't come as that big a surprise.
Deadline is reporting that the upcoming Black Lightning television series may be moving from Fox to The CW. While discussions are still happening, the site says that a pilot order is very likely.
While Fox picked up a pilot commitment this past Fall, the network reportedly passed on it as they didn’t think the series fitted in with “its already crowded genre drama”.
Should The CW order a pilot, and series, it would make Black Lightning the fifth entry in the DC TV Arrowverse - which also includes the likes of Arrow, The Flash, Supergirl and Legends Of Tomorrow respectively.

It certainly makes the most sense to us!
Black Lightning centers on Jefferson Pierce. He made his choice: He hung up the suit and his secret identity years ago, but with a daughter hellbent on justice and a star student being recruited by a local gang, he’ll be pulled back into the fight as the wanted vigilante and DC legend Black Lightning.
