Bates Motel actress Vera Farmiga has checked into Godzilla: King Of The Monsters.
The actress will play the mother of Millie Bobby Brown in the highly anticipated sequel, with the role of daddy having already gone to Kyle Chandler.
Michael Dougherty is directing from a script that he wrote alongside Zack Shields. The film serves as a follow-up to Gareth Edwards' 2014 Godzilla reboot, which took in $529-Million worldwide.
Godzilla: King of the Monsters is slated for release on March 22nd, 2019. Afterwards, Godzilla will take on The Eighth Wonder Of The World in Godzilla vs. Kong on May 29, 2020.
Prior to all of this, fans can check out the second chapter of the newly formed Legendary Monster Universe with Kong: Skull Island, which hits theatres on March 10th.
Plot details for the Godzilla sequel are being kept under wraps, but we do know that Kyle Chandler will be playing a scientist, who is also the hero of the film.
