Marvel's Inhumans Finds Its Black Bolt

The Inhumans have finally found their leader! The highly anticipated superhero series has tapped Hell On Wheels star Anson Mount to portray the mighty Black Bolt.

The character is described as the enigmatic, commanding King of the Inhumans, with a voice so powerful that the slightest whisper can destroy a city.

"Anson loves the challenge of playing a character who will only communicate silently," said Jeph Loeb, Head of Marvel Television. "His enthusiasm mixed with his imposing almost regal persona made it easy to see why he is our Black Bolt."

"Black Bolt is a character whose deep complexity must be conveyed without uttering a single word, and I’m very excited to have Anson on board to bring him to life," adds showrunner Scott Buck.

Mount joins Game Of Thrones vet Iwan Rheon, who will be taking up the part of Maximus, Black Bolt’s brother, who harbors an intense desire to take up the role of king himself.
Inhumans premieres its first two episodes in IMAX theaters for two weeks beginning in September before moving to ABC to continue its full eight-episode run.
