Three More Join Star Trek: Discovery

Terry Serpico, Maulik Pancholy, and Sam Vartholomeos have all signed on to portray Starfleet officers in Star Trek: Discovery for CBS All Access.

Serpico will play Admiral Anderson, a high-ranking Starfleet official, Pancholy will play the Starship Shenzhou’s chief medical officer Dr. Nambue, and Vartholomeos will play Ensign Connor who is also assigned to the Shenzhou.

For those who don't know, the Shenzhou is a secondary ship set to appear in numerous episodes throughout the first season. Actress Michelle Yeoh will play the captain of the ship.

Sonequa Martin-Green, Doug Jones, Anthony Rapp, James Frain, Chris Obi, Shazad Latif and Mary Chieffo will also star in the show. Alex Kurtzman, Heather Kadin, Gretchen J. Berg, Aaron Harberts, Akiva Goldsman, Rod Roddenberry and Trevor Roth will executive produce.

Star Trek: Discovery is slated to premiere later this year on CBS All Access in the United States. It will also be streaming on other services like Netflix throughout the rest of the world.
