Kotobukiya Reveals A Stylin' Star-Lord Statue

Kotobukiya has updated their site with new images and info for their upcoming Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2 Star-Lord with Groot ARTFX statue.

Crafted in 1/6 scale, this 12.5" statue features interchangeable parts and even brings a tiny baby Groot along for the ride! Check out all the details posted below...

A Kotobukiya Japanese import! It’s been 3 years since the smash hit, Guardians of the Galaxy, where the galaxy was saved from Ronan the Accuser and the Kree fleet by a group of misfits and outlaws with nothing but pure will (and a little groove) on their side. Direct from the long-awaited, upcoming sequel, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, comes the now infamous Star-Lord, a.k.a. Peter Quill, and the re-born Groot in 1:6 (ARTFX) scale!

Sculpted by Dave Cortes, Star-Lord is rendered in exacting detail (by referencing actual film assets) in a pose brandishing his quad blasters! Caught in mid action, Star-Lord is over 12.5” tall on his included environmental base. Enjoy the flexibility of various display options through the use of additional headpieces and accessories. You can switch out his unmasked head to his helmeted head and take on and off his headphones. As an added bonus Groot appears to assist Star-Lord in his juvenile form, and can ride on his shoulder or try to keep pace alongside him!

A perfect addition to any Marvel collection, the Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2 Star-Lord with Groot ARTFX statue is available for pre-order now! Priced at $139.99, fans can expect this amazing piece to be released in September.

Will you be adding Star-Lord to your Marvel collection this fall?
