Logan Passes $500-Million Worldwide

James Mangold's Logan has clawed its way to another box office milestone.

The X-Men spinoff has amassed $185-Million here in North America and $339-Million overseas. This brings the film's total box office cume up to $524-Million globally.

This is quite impressive considering that the movie has had some rather stiff competition at the movies these past few weeks thanks to the Warner Bros. epic King Kong: Skull Island and Disney's live-action take on Beauty And The Beast. However, despite this, the movie has been able to hold its own and bring in some descent buck at the box office - especially for an R rated movie.

It will be interesting to see if Logan has the legs to come near the $783-Million garnered by Deadpool, the first R rated X-Men movie, last year.

In the near future, a weary Logan cares for an ailing Professor X in a hide out on the Mexican border. But Logan's attempts to hide from the world and his legacy are up-ended when a young mutant arrives, being pursued by dark forces.

Starring Hugh Jackman, Patrick Stewart, Dafne Keen, Boyd Holbrook, Richard E. Grant, Stephen Merchant and Eriq La Salle, Logan is in theaters now.

How many times have you seen it?
