Actress Malin Akerman, who portrayed the Silk Spectre in Zack Snyder's Watchmen, has entered talks to join the cast of Rampage. The film is based off the popular 1980's arcade game about three giant monsters wrecking havoc across several North American cities.
Akerman will play the film's villain, the calculating head of a tech company that is behind the monsters. She joins a cast that already includes the likes of action star Dwayne Johnson, Naomie Harris, Joe Manganiello, Marley Shelton, PJ Byrne, Jack Quaid, Matt Gerald and Breanne Hill.
The film will feature three creatures - a monstrously transformed gorilla, crocodile and wolf, who can only be stopped by one man - the animal loving hero portrayed by Dwayne Johnson.
Flynn and John Rickard are producing.
Brad Peyton, who worked with Johnson on San Andreas, is directing.
Akerman is also known for her roles in Rock Of Ages and The Final Girls respectively.
