Actress Natalie Alyn Lind, known for her roles in Gotham and The Goldbergs, has joined the cast of Bryan Singer's untitled X-Men pilot.
The untitled pilot will focus on two ordinary parents who discover their children possess mutant powers. Forced to go on the run from a hostile government, the family joins up with an underground network of mutants and must fight to survive.
Lind has been set as a series regular and will portray Lauren. One of the mutant children, her character is described as smart, pretty, popular, organized and already ahead on her college applications. She is the model of a perfect kid.
Lind joins a cast that includes Stephen Moyer, Blair Redford and fellow Gotham actress Jamie Chung in the role of famed Marvel Mutant Blink.
Bryan Singer is attached to direct, while Matt Nix is writing the script. The pair will also executive produce along with Lauren Shuler Donner, Simon Kinberg, Jeph Loeb and Jim Chory. 20th Century Fox TV and Marvel Television are producing.
