Things are about to get a whole lot more unfortunate.
Netflix has officially announced that A Series of Unfortunate Events, which premiered its first eight episodes back in January, has been renewed for a second season.
The show is based off of the series of Young Adult books by Daniel Handler. Back in 2004, a feature film was released starring Jim Carrey and Meryl Streep. However, that big screen adaption pales in comparison to the current version, which stars How I Met Your Mother alum Neil Patrick Harris as the villainous, and oftentimes humorous Count Olaf.
