Even though he's previously stated that Logan would be his final time portraying Professor Charles Xavier in the X-Men movie universe, Patrick Stewart may not actually be completely done with the iconic comic book role just yet.
Recently Legion star Dan Stevens appeared on The Late Late Show with James Corden alongside Stewart and conversation soon turned to the odds of Charles Xavier appearing on the small screen X-Men spinoff.
"Technically, Sir Patrick plays my father," Stevens said. "Prof. X is David Haller’s father in the Marvel Universe. So, essentially, I’ve got a job offer for Patrick."
When Stewart was asked if this was something he'd be interested in doing, the actor replied with an enthusiastic "Absolutely! 100%!"

Does this mean we'll see Stewart take up the role once again for the small screen? We can't say for sure, but it certainly sounds as though this is something he'd be very interested in doing.
Interestingly enough, this is not the first time that the actor has reconsidered bringing the famed Marvel Comics Mutant back following Logan. Speaking with MTV, Stewart even expressed interest in taking up the role once more for a possible cameo appearance in Deadpool 2.
"I would have said yes, but the discussion just now about Deadpool makes me think, well, maybe there is a proper justification for the revival of Charles Xavier."Whatever the case may be, we're guessing that we'll be seeing Charles Xavier back in the X-Men universe sooner rather than later.
Fans can check out Patrick Stewart in Logan, playing in theatres now.
