The Tick was originally created by Ben Edlund in 1986. Two years later, he would debut the character in his very own comic book before the hero would jump onto the small screen with his own Saturday morning cartoon.
In 2001, Fox debuted a live-action series centered around The Tick, which starred Patrick Warburton. The show was axed after nine episodes, but has gone on to amass quite the cult following over the last sixteen years.
The new series debuts its first season later this year on Amazon’s streaming service and stars Serafinowicz as The Tick, Griffin Newman as Arthur Everest, Valorie Curry as Dot Everest, Brendan Hines as Superian, Jackie Earle Haley as The Terror and Yara Martinez as Ms. Lint.
