Warner Bros. Home Entertainment has officially announced that they will be releasing a special commemorative edition of the 2009 animated Wonder Woman movie this May. For those who've yet to see the original, the animated feature tells the origin story of Princess Diana and how she came to embrace the role of Wonder Woman by defeating the evil Ares.
Lauren Montgomery directed the animated feature, which is based off of a story by DC Comics writer Gail Simone, and writer Michael Jelenic who wrote the screenplay.
