Actor James Cromwell recently sat down with Larry King and the pair briefly discussed his upcoming role in J.A. Bayona's Jurassic World sequel.
While not much is given away in the video posted below, we now know that Cromwell is playing Benjamin Lockwood, the partner of Richard Attenborough's John Hammond. Additionally, in the wake of Hammond's death, it looks as though Cromwell's character is dealing with some pretty heavy stuff since the events of Jurassic Park and its subsequent sequels.
Check out the video posted below...
"The character Richard Attenborough plays [John Hammond], I’m his partner, uh Benjamin Lockwood, and we developed the technology of being able to clone the genes – and so I am, uh, trying to deal with the blowback from what we have done."
This video comes on the heels of a rather big announcement last night, which revealed that franchise veteran Jeff Goldblum had joined the cast of the highly anticipated film back in the role of mathematician Dr. Ian Malcolm.
Starring Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, B.D. Wong, Jeff Goldblum, Ted Levine, Raff Spall, Toby Jones, Justice Smith and James Cromwell, Jurassic World 2 hits theaters on June 22, 2018.
