Did you really think a trash compactor could stop Captain Phasma?
Yesterday afternoon at Star Wars Celebration, Marvel announced Star Wars: Captain Phasma, a 4-issue miniseries set after Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Set to hit newsstands this September, the new series comes from writer Kelly Thompson and artist Marco Checchetto.
The new Captain Phasma title will be part of The Journey to Star Wars: The Last Jedi, a brand new publishing program leading up to the release of Rian Johnson's film this coming September — and yes, we’ll get to see the chrome-clad stormtrooper escape from Starkiller Base.

But, that's not all, Phasma fans! Del Rey Books will also be releasing a new novel, Phasma, by Delilah S. Dawson on September 1st. Check out the cover for the novel posted below...
This new book will delve into the character's back story and will offer up plenty of action for those who felt Phasma didn't get much screen time in The Force Awakens.
So, who's ready to welcome back the captain this fall?
