A recent online campaign to help Melissa Bradley see the Wonder Woman movie ahead of its June 2nd release has gone viral and garnered a lot of attention. Melissa has been battling cancer for several years and has now reached Stage 4. She has been waiting to see a full-length Wonder Woman movie for most of her life - and thanks to director Patty Jenkins, she may be seeing it soon.
Jenkins responded to the #MelsWish campaign over on Twitter to assure fans that she and her team are working hard to have Melissa Bradley see the film ahead of its summer release.
Hi Karyn. Want you, and all those forwarding, that I've been trying hard all week to figure this out. We want her to see it too!! Standby... https://t.co/o3VjvwNa5V— Patty Jenkins (@PattyJenks) April 22, 2017
This is so encouraging to read! In a world so upside down, it's so great to see individuals coming together in an effort to make dreams come true.
However, Patty Jenkins wasn't the only one involved with the Wonder Woman movie to address TH campaign and send well-wishes Melissa's way. Actress Lucy Davis, who portrays Etta Candy in the highly anticipated film, took to Twitter to send out love and support.
Hello Karyn! Just wanted to send u my love and say hello. Lots of love 🌈💙🍄 https://t.co/V5ZUKMyWPY— Lucy Davis (@RealLucyDavis) April 21, 2017
