Earlier this week, Michael Bay revealed that there are a total of 14 different Transformers movies current in development over at Paramount Pictures - proving that the studio has no plans of concluding the multi billion dollar franchise anytime soon.
One of the planned movies will be a Bumblebee spinoff from director Travis Knight which, according to Michael Bay, will serve as a prequel to the preciously released Transformers movies. Speaking with MTV, Bay revealed that the movie will reach back to Bumblebee's younger days before he ended up in a used car dealership run by Uncle Bobby.
We're guessing this will mean that the fan-favorite Autobot will be able to speak, instead of having to rely on radio broadcasts to express what's on his mind.
There is no set release date for the Bumblebee movie at this time, but rumor has it that production on the spinoff could begin as soon as this coming summer for a planned release at some point in 2018.
