The Fate Of The Furious Owns The Box Office Yet Again

The Fate Of The Furious owned the box office for its second straight weekend.

The eighth installment of the multi billion dollar franchise opened to a record-shattering $532-Million, topping the openings of such bug time blockbusters as Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Jurassic World and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2.

This weekend, the F. Gary Grey film brought in an additional $38.7-Million from 4,329 different theatrical locations. This brings the film's domestic total up to $163.5-Million which, when combined with the hugely impressive $744.8-Million taken in from overseas, brings the total worldwide come of The Fate Of The Furious up to a massive $908-Million.

Should the film continue on this current path, its pretty much guaranteed that it will cross the $1-Billion mark some time late next week.

Starring Vin Diesel, Dwayne Johnson, Ludacris, Tyrese Gibson, Jason Statham, and Charlize Theron, The Fate Of The Furious is playing in theatres now.

How many times have you seen it?
