The Predator Pushed To August 2018

Fox has given a new release date to The Predator.

Previously set for release on February 9th, 2018, the Shane Black flick will now find itself stalking into theatres on August 3rd, 2018. This is the second time that Fox has assigned the highly anticipated sequel a new release date. Originally, it was scheduled to arrive on March 2nd, 2018, before being moved up to February 9th.

Keep in mind that release dates in Hollywood change all the time, so there is no need for concern. In fact, moving the movie over to the summer movie season proves that Fox must have faith in the project, as there will be much more in the way of competition at the box office.

The first week of August has proved to be mighty successful for films like Guardians of the Galaxy and Suicide Squad in the past, so here's hoping The Predator will follow suit.

Director Shane Black co-wrote the script for The Predator with Fred Dekker.

The film stars Boyd Holbrook, Thomas Jane, Olivia Munn, Keegan-Michael Key, Sterling K. Brown, Yvonne Strahovski, Alfie Allen, Edward James Olmos and Jacob Tremblay.

Mark your calendars accordingly.
