Voltron Legendary Defender Renewed For Season 3

DreamWorks has confirmed that Voltron Legendary Defender has been renewed for a third season, which will debut on Netflix later this year. The announcement was made by executive producer Joaquim Dos Santos during a panel for the show at WonderCon this past weekend.

Aside from a 2017 premiere date, no further information was given.

Fans who were lucky enough to attend the panel were treated to an in-depth discussion about the show's most recent season, which debuted on Netflix earlier this year. Panelists included Jeremy Shada (Lance), Josh Keaton (Shiro), Tyler Labine (Hunk), Bex Taylor-Klaus (Pidge), and Kimberly Brooks (Allura), as well as executive producer Joaquim Dos Santos, co-executive producer Lauren Montgomery, and story editor Tim Hedrick.
