Prolific comic book artist Rich Buckler, the man who created the Luthor Manning version of the cybernetically enhanced character known as Deathlok, has passed away. He was 68.
Buckler passed away on Friday following a battle with cancer. Marvel's official Twitter account announced Buckler's passing on Friday evening.

Aside from creating Deathlok, Buckler also worked on Marvel's Fantastic Four in the 1970's. Additionally, he also worked on such comics as All-Star Squadron, Batman, The Flash, Jungle Action, The Spectacular Spider-Man and more.
