Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2 has topped the weekend box office for a second week.
Domestically, the James Gunn superhero sequel pulled in an additional $63-Million, bringing its cume here in North America up to $246-Million. While the film saw a 57% drop over its first week in release, it still enjoys a stronger second weekend take than Avengers: Age Of Ultron, Iron Man 3 and Thor: The Dark World respectively.
Overseas, Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2 enjoyed a $3-Million opening in Japan and brought in an additional $52.2-Million from 56 different markets this weekend. The film's international total has now climbed to $380-Million for a global total of $633-Million.
Directed by James Gunn and starring Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, David Bautista, Bradley Cooper, Vin Diesel, Michael Rooker, Kurt Russell, Sylvester Stallone and Michael Rosenbaum, Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2 is in theaters now.
