In celebration of the 40th Anniversary of Star Wars, the official Vanity Fair website has revealed four brand new covers created for a special issue celebrating this latest milestone.
The special covers were photographed by Annie Leibovitz on the set of Rian Johnson's Star Wars: The Last Jedi during the film's production. The four covers spotlight the heroes of the Resistance, as well as the villains of the First Order, Jedi Knight Luke Skywalker, heroine Rey and the beautiful Carrie Fisher as the iconic General Leia Organa.

A story surrounding the making of the film will be posted by Vanity Fair on Wednesday, along with a look at the impressive portfolio of Annie Leibovitz. The issue will be on newsstands in New York and Los Angeles on May 31st, and nationally on June 6th.
Star Wars: The Last Jedi arrives in theaters this December.
