Bradley Whitford, known for his Emmy-winning role on The West Wing, has closed a deal to star in Godzilla: King Of The Monsters from Warner Bros. and Legendary Entertainment.
Whitford joins a cast that includes Kyle Chandler, Vera Farmiga, Millie Bobby Brown, O’Shea Jackson Jr., Ken Watanabe, Sally Hawkins and Thomas Middleditch.
Krampus director Michael Dougherty is helming the monster sequel, which serves as the third installment of the studio's ever expanding Monster-Verse. Gareth Edwards' Godzilla and Kong: Skull Island also serve as part of this universe.
Whitford recently appeared in Jordan Peele’s horror hit Get Out and will next be seen in the upcoming war drama The Last Full Measure from Todd Robinson. Details surrounding his character in the Godzilla sequel are currently unknown.
Godzilla: King Of The Monsters stomps into theatres on March 22nd, 2019.
