Danny Elfman To Score Justice League

Danny Elfman is returning to the DC Universe.

The man who scored both Batman and Batman Returns for director Tim Burton has been brought on to compose the music for Zack Snyder's Justice League, which hits theatres this Fall.

The hiring of Elfman comes just as additional scenes for the film are being shot in London under the watchful eye of Joss Whedon. The Age Of Ultron helmer recently stepped in for director Zack Snyder who left the film late last month following the death of his daughter, Autumn.

Prior to this, Snyder had been working with Batman v Superman composer Junkie XL.

Elfman has some familiarity with coming in late on projects and with working with Whedon. He was brought on board in the later stages of making Whedon’s 2015 superhero movie, Avengers: Age of Ultron, adding to the music already written by Brian Tyler.

Elfman also scored the first two Spider-Man movies for Sam Raimi.

Starring Ben Affleck, Gal Gagot, Henry Cavill, Ezra Miller, Jason Momoa, Ray Fisher, J.K. Simmons, Jesse Eisenberg, Jeremy Irons, Willem Dafoe, Amber Heard, Connie Nielsen, Robin Wright, Joe Morton Jr., Billy Crudup, and Kiersey Clemons, Justice League arrives in theaters on November 17th.
