Manu Bennett Campaigning For A Deathstroke TV Series

This needs to happen right away!

Even after five seasons, there is no doubt that Manu Bennett's Deathstroke remains one of the most popular villains to grace the DC TV Universe. Even though he hasn't been around much lately, the character rose again for the Season 5 finale of Arrow and got fans wishing for a Deathstroke television series. Heck, even creator Marv Wolfman and Arrow star David Ramsey have expressed excitement over the possibility of Slade Wilson headlining his own DC TV spinoff!

Now, even Mr. Bennett himself has gotten in on the action!

The actor took to Twitter yesterday to begin campaigning for Deathstroke to get his own TV show, urging fans to rally together in an effort to make this happen.

While we'd love, love, LOVE a Deathstroke TV show, and we have no doubt many of our fellow fans would as well, we can't help but wonder if something like this would be possible given that the character will soon be appearing on the big screen as part of the DC Extended Universe.

Granted, this hasn't stopped the likes of Captain Boomerang, Amanda Waller and others from appearing on both sides of the DC Universe, so who knows? Anything is possible, right?

Regardless, the idea of a television series centered around the top mercenary from the DC Comics library has us all kinds of excited! Manu Bennett has truly embodied the character and made it his own since debuting in Season 2 of Arrow - seeing more of him within the DC TV Universe would only be a good thing!

What do you think, Infinite Earths fans? Would you like to see a Deathstroke TV show?
