Mark Wahlberg Done With Transformers

After the likes of Megan Fox and Shia LaBeouf departed the Transformers franchise at Paramount, it was Mark Wahlberg who stepped into the spotlight and helped reinvent the series with both Age Of Extinction and The Last Knight, which arrives in theaters this week.

However, after two movies, it sounds as though the actor is finished with the franchise once and for all. Chatting about Transformers on The Graham Norton Show, Wahlberg revealed: "It's the last one so I get my life back!"

Interestingly, while it may be the last one for him, the Transformers franchise is far from over. Currently, Paramount is planning a sixth installment of the series, along with a spinoff centered around Bumblebee - which will take place in the 1980's.

What do you think, Infinite Earths fans? Are you sad to see Mark Wahlberg leave?

Starring Mark Wahlberg, Sir Anthony Hopkins, Isabela Moner, Jerrod Carmichael, Josh Duhamel, Stanley Tucci, and Laura Haddock, Transformers: The Last Knight is set to explore the history of the Transformers on Earth, as they search for the key to preserving the planet's future.

Transformers: The Last Knight arrives in theatres on June 21st.
