It was last year that Netflix greenlit The Punisher, a brand new solo series centred around Jon Bernthal's Marvel mercenary. Since then, not much has been revealed about the new show, however it sounds as though we may finally know when the series will begin streaming.
Speaking with The Hollywood Reporter, director Dearbhla Walsh revealed: "[I’ve directed] one other time that hasn’t been aired yet, which was an episode for the new Marvel series The Punisher, which I did just before Christmas, but it’s not airing until November."
This release date makes sense given Marvel's release schedule for its Netflix shows. The first seasons of Luke Cage and Jessica Jones launched in the months of October and November, respectively.
Before Frank Castle takes to the streets in his own Netflix show however, fans can watch Daredevil, Luke Cage, Jessica Jones and Iron Fist team up this summer in The Defenders. That show begins streaming on August 18th.
Be sure to mark your calendars accordingly, Infinite Earths fans.
