Wonder Woman To Top Box Office In Second Weekend

Wonder Woman looks to be the top contender at the box office once again this weekend.

Analysts predict that the fourth chapter of the DC Films franchise should take in over $50-Million for its second weekend in circulation. The Patty Jenkins film faces competition from Universal's reboot of The Mummy this weekend, however, the first film of the Dark Universe is on track for a $35-Million domestic debut.

Despite this, insiders say The Mummy will be fine thanks to the international box office, where Tom Cruise remains a huge draw. The monster movie has already posted the biggest opening in South Korea today with an estimated $6.6-Million.

Before she was Wonder Woman, she was Diana, princess of the Amazons, trained to be an unconquerable warrior. Raised on a sheltered island paradise, when an American pilot crashes on their shores and tells of a massive conflict raging in the outside world, Diana leaves her home, convinced she can stop the threat. Fighting alongside man in a war to end all wars, Diana will discover her full powers…and her true destiny.

Starring Gal Gadot, Chris Pine, Connie Nielsen, Robin Wright, Danny Huston, David Thewlis, Ewen Bremner, Elena Anaya and Lucy Davis, Wonder Woman arrives in theatres now.

Will you be seeing it again this weekend?
