Advanced Review - Predator: Hunters #3

Predator: Hunters returns to stores this month with a brand new issue crammed full of fast-paced, white-knuckle action sure to keep readers on the edge of their seats.

The story kicks off shortly after Jaya Soames and her team of hunters arrive on Dr. Bunting's tropical utopia. While here, the team learns a little more about their host and his family, while a few members of the team stashed away on the Durga use drones to search for their alien prey within the thick, primordial foliage of Kehua. The monster is located and the team mobilizes, but not before one of Dr. Bunting's associates begs for the team to return following their hunt.

Using state-of-the-art technology to mask their presence, the team arrives on Kehua under the cover of darkness. The hunt has officially begun, and it is not long before savvy meets savagery as predator and prey collide for the first time! First blood goes to the Yautja, however technology gives Soames' team the edge as they corner and kill the beast in an almost effortless confrontation.

Surveying their surroundings, the team soon happens upon the creature's camp - and an elderly man, who was clearly being kept as prisoner by the Predator. While the team assures this mysterious individual that he is safe and the creature is gone, it is soon made quite clear that this mission is far from over and that the team has only just entered the very gates of Hell itself.

Once again, Chris Warner and Francisco Ruiz Velasco have crafted another superb chapter in this exciting new series. Predator and prey clash and the action just keeps building the further you delve into this latest issue. And, if you thought squaring off against one of these nasty beasts was bad enough, just wait until the shocking revelation in the final panel!

Like we said, this mission is far from over!
