Actress C.C.H. Pounder, known for roles on ER, NCIS: New Orleans and voicing ARGUS head Amanda Waller in the DC Animated Universe, is set to reprise her role as Moat in James Cameron's upcoming Avatar sequels.
First appearing in the 2009 blockbuster, Moat is the spiritual leader of the Nava'i.
Pounder reunites with returning cast members Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldana, Joel David Moore, Stephen Lang and Sigourney Weaver.
Newcomers Cliff Curtis and Oona Chaplin will also star.
Pre-production on the four sequels is currently underway in New Zealand with filming slated to begin on the first sequel on September 25th.
Rick Jaffa, Amanda Silver, Josh Friedman, and Shane Salerno wrote the scripts with Cameron, who is also directing and serving as a producer alongside Jon Landau.
Avatar 2 hits the bug screen on December 18th 2020.
